Are there any precompiled binaries for windows?
Unfortunately no, there are no pre-compiled binaries. But it's very easy
to build yourself, just follow the build instructions [1].

$ git clone --recursive git://github.com/d-widget-toolkit/dwt.git
In a terminal/cmd (btw, you don't type $, that just an indication it
should be typed in a terminal). Of course, this requires you to have
"git" installed. Which I would recommend if you're doing any development
with D.

Alternatively you can download a zip of the sources:

1. Download the DWT sources [1]
2. Extract the zip file
3. Download the DWT Win32 sources [2]
4. Extract the Win32 zip file into
"dwt\org.eclipse.swt.win32.win32.x86", where "dwt" is the path you
extracted the DWT source code to

Okay, thanks for your detailed answer. What should i do next if i
extracted the Win32 zip file?

Follow the instructions here [1]. The steps I described above replaces
the second step in the linked build instructions.

Hi, thanks againf or your answer. I navigated to the dmd folder
where the rdmd.exe file is. If i type "rdmd build base swt" i get
this Error:

Error: cannot read file build.d
Failed: ^"dmd^" ^"-v^" ^"-o-^" ^"build.d^" ^"-I.^"

Okay, i created the missing folders. But now if i type this in my

As I answered to your previous post, you run that command in directory
where DWT is located. You also need to be able to access "rdmd" and
"dmd" from the command line, anywhere. I don't know how you have
installed "dmd" but I looks like it's not added to your PATH environment
variable.

Hmm, that's look strange. I'll take a look at this and see what I can find.

You should navigate to the folder where DWT is located. It should have
structure similar to what's seen here [1].
